Artful mobile inspired by Vilhelm Lundström
The Lundstroem 1932 Mobile of the Danish manufacturer Flensted Mobiles is a loving tribute to the unique geometry of the painter Vilhelm Lundström. Special source of inspiration was his famous work "Arrangement with white jug, orange and book" (1932-1933). The main elements of the artwork are freely in the air inside the mobile. The wings add calmness to the cubist still life. Lundstroem 1932 Artfully combines angular shapes with significant colors, creating an airy poetry.
The mobile was designed by Philip Bro & Thomas Krause. The Lundstroem 1932 Mobile was developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK) in Copenhagen, where the original painting hangs.
