Royal Copenhagen's Mega Blue Ribbed series is distinguished by its noble blue tendril pattern, designed by Karen Kjaeldgård-Larsen in 2000. The decor is based on the Musselmalet pattern from 1775 and can be understood as a homage to the classically decorated porcelain. Light grooves on the surface give the porcelain a special feel and enhance its value. The vases of the Mega Blue Ribbed series inspire with their bulbous shape, which is suitable for single flowers as well as for lush bouquets. The vases are available in different sizes.
Royal Copenhagen porcelain comes from Denmark's most traditional porcelain manufactory and has been produced since 1775. It is painted by hand and is characterized by its high quality. The Danish Royal Family uses Royal Copenhagen tableware for special occasions.
