Kähler Signature - an artistic interpretation of nature
Inspired by the beauty of nature and botany, the vase has been Signature Vase designed by the designer duo Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne. It combines a playful and curious design language.
In reference to the morning glory flower, the Signature Vase forms an elegant funnel at the top. The characteristic stripe in the Morgen Glory flowers was also poetically interpreted and further developed in the vase. A special feature is a special perforated ceramic plate that allows flowers to be arranged with precision. The plate can also be easily removed.
Playful design
A humorous detail are the characteristic lines that extend over the edge and into the interior of the vase. This is not only elegant and surprising, but also adds a new dimension to the design by accentuating the shape both inside and out. The vase is made of ceramic and hand painted. This adds to the vibrancy of the authentic charm, which is also created by the graphic interpretation of flowers and seed heads on the vases.
Creation of a creative duo
Danish design duo MeyerLavigne consists of Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne, who both trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and specialize in ceramics and glass. The duo works with a wide range of materials including ceramics, textiles, wood and print.
The vase is available in several color schemes.
