The German designer Mathias Hahn, who runs the studio of the same name in London, designed this timeless carpet. His inspiration was the realization that shadows are never just black or white, but on the contrary show many colors and geometry. Traditional craftsmanship meets design
The Capas carpet from nanimarquina is a Kilim - a carpet traditionally woven by hand in Afghanistan. In order to create additional contour and design depth, Hahn and nanimarquina developed a special, somewhat thicker and looser yarn, which gives the carpet its stylish look. Capas gives the carpet its stylish look.
