Kilim from fragments of antique carpets

The Hemp carpets from Kvadrat are unique specimens with an extraordinary past. Each Hemp kilim is composed of fragments of antique carpets and is therefore an original with a rich historical past. The idea came from the German designer Isa Glink.

Since the fragments of the hemp fibre carpet come from different provinces, nuances in colour and different yarn structures are essential characteristics of the carpet. Possible shadow areas, isolated foreign threads as well as smaller knots are expressions of its authenticity and make each carpet a real unique specimen. Available in different sizes and colours, the carpet blends perfectly into different living spaces.
