Bath towel with exciting pattern
The Kalasääski bath towel from Marimekko is an extraordinary eye-catcher in the bathroom. It can be combined with other products of the Kalasääski -series , the colourful discreetness in the bathroom can be cancelled and thus more movement can be brought into the room. The bath towel is made of 100% cotton and is therefore particularly gentle on the skin without irritating it. The cotton also gives the bath towel a cosy feel for relaxing moments after the bathing experience.
The Kalasääski design takes the stripe design and executes the geometric aesthetic in a new way. The design showcases the art of freehand patterns of vertical and diagonal stripes and is named after the osprey (in Finnish Kalasääski ). The color execution as well as the arrangement of the lines are reminiscent of a bird in flight position. The design was created in 1962 by Maija Isola.
