A disclosure – the Jacob Jensen bottle opener with new patented lifting-technique
Everybody knows it – people often wish to own more than two hands, especially at events and parties. The opening of beer bottles for example can become an acrobatic masterly performance when the other hand is already occupied with other bottles or snacks.
Thanks to the new, patented lifting-technique it is possible to open bottles with only one hand with the bottle opener from Jacob Jensen. Horizontally positioned over the crown cap, the new aluminium bow from the opener will be easy to handle. After a soft fore- and back springing there won't be any obstacles against the drinking pleasure – a real disclosure.
The maxim of the Danish designer to perfectly unify functionality and design at all technical everyday objects stay also faithful at the new bottle opener. It is easy to hold, beautiful to look at and effective because it removes bottle-lids fast and easy. Small enough to disappear unseen in the hand, it has a sensitive touch thanks to its round form and soft material.
The classical and simple design from the opener reveals a visual surprise after a closer looking: the Skarabäus, a famous Egyptian and European talisman until today, was the force behind the development. The symbol stands for creativity – maybe a personal eye wink from Denmark?
