Bag-in-box wine is enjoying growing popularity, and high-quality wines have been filled in cardboard boxes for a while now already. The box has many advantages: you can stock up on larger volumes; it is practical, environmentally friendly and is good value for money. But there is still one problem: it lacks elegance. The Eva Solo designers took on this challenge and designed the 'Bag-in-box carafe'.
'We wanted to take boxed wine out of its hiding place, make the contents transparent and present it as an equal beside bottled wine', say the designers from Tools, who are responsible for all Eva Solo products. Thus the wine carafe has been given a new definition. To keep wine at the right temperature, the carafe can come with a neoprene cover that has already been tested with other Eva Solo products.
The 'Bag-in-box carafe' is made of glass and has a stainless steel insert at its spout. In there is a round cut-out ring that reliably prevents dripping while you are pouring or serving the contents. The carafe's neck is wider so that you can pour wine into it without any problems. The carafe can be sealed with a silicone stopper, so you can continue enjoying the wine on a different day.
The 'Bag-in-box carafe' has a capacity of 750 ml, equivalent in size to a standard wine bottle. That means it fits - for rosé or white wine - into every fridge door. After the party is before the party: the 'Bag-in-box carafe' is of course dishwasher-safe.
