The Flow Cans by designer Jakob Wagner work like cans, look like sculptures and tell a story.
With this design, Jakob Wagner wanted to tell the story of a can's function: The Flow Cans have a large opening for filling and a small one for pouring, a low centre of gravity and a narrow midsection that provides a secure grip.
At the same time, Jakob Wagner wanted to create a floating balance between these parts, so that they would come together to create an organic entity - just like the heart and veins or a tree and its branches.
The design of the Flow Cans is accordingly ambitious and clever and nearly seems to let them come alive.
The cans are made of best bone china and are glazed on the inside while the outside is polished by hand.
