Reluctance and modesty characterize this clear divided cutlery forms. In comparison to more curved, more voluptuous form-speaking of the 50er it appears almost purist in the absolute scarcity of the form elements. Carl Pott wrote about this cutlery to a friend: "it should become a totally well-behaved, conventional pattern with which one can spoon, fork and cut."
The awarding of the Estate Prize North Rhine Westphalia for this cutlery was one of the highlights of the Carl Pott artistic career. The awarding jury called his design "exemplarily work because of the simple timeless forms".
