Earthenware plate with plant pattern
The Elokuun Varjot plate from the manufacturer Marimekko features the eponymous pattern by designer Maija Louekari. Ovia plate is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe and is made of brown stoneware. The plate is available in a variety of finishes. Country of origin: Thailand.
Designer Maija Louekari was inspired by her own overgrown garden for the 2020 print Elokuun varjot (August Shadows). Louekari is fascinated by the changing seasons of the north - the new beginnings - and the lush growth that follows year after year. This pattern is an ode to greenery, freedom and warm winds.
