Earthenware drinking cup made of iconic Ildpot Series
In the 1970s the Ildpot series from FDB Møbler as a completely new type of cookware series in Danish households. Previously, women had entered the labour market, which changed the way food was cooked and served. The products of the Ildpot series could be taken directly from the freezer to the oven and then to the dining table. This made the preparation of the dinner both easier and more manageable. The renowned Danish designer and architect Grethe Meyer was behind the design.
Now FDB is re-launching this iconic earthenware range in the form of drinking cups, plates and serving bowls . And the products continue to impress with their durability and resistance: the dishes are suitable for the oven and grill as well as the freezer and microwave. In addition, it impresses with its natural earthenware surface and the design with its reduced attention to detail, which you can immediately see from its careful production.
The Ildpot Drinking cups are available in different sizes, so they are just as suitable for morning coffee or tea as for an espresso in between.
