It isn't hard to see where the inspiration for the design of Eva Solo's lemon squeezer came from. Not only its shape and colour borrow from its natural inspiration, but also its surface. When squeezing lemons, oranges or limes, the nubby surface offers a firm grip while being strongly reminiscent of most citrus fruits' surfaces.
Freshly Squeezed Fruit in an Instant
The new citrus squeezer makes squeezing citrus child's play. After squeezing, juice can be poured out through the grooves on the slim edge. The benefit: the pits remain inside the press while juice is poured out.
Another ingenuity of the design is that the squeezer remains upright despite its half-round shape. This avoids spillage.
Once work is done, the citrus squeezer can easily be quickly cleaned in the dishwasher.
