Spring Cotton Linen Tea Towel
Marimekko's Alku tea towel is made of a cotton-linen blend and features the Alku pattern designed by Maija Louekari. The bean-like shapes in the new Marimekko pattern represent seeds that grow into magnificent, bold flowers. They symbolise a new beginning, as spring is, hence the name Alku - "beginning" in Finnish.
Thanks to the linen content in the tea towel, it is more absorbent than pure cotton cloths, making it ideal for drying dishes. In addition, Alku provides a spring-like splash of colour in the kitchen.
