Bowl with removable lid
The Chapeau bonbonniere from Lyngby Porcelæn is a design by the German designer Milia Seyppel and is characterised by its unusual shape. True to its name Chapeau (French hat), the bonbonniere has a lid that can be removed and is visually reminiscent of a hat.
Made of porcelain or glass
Chapeau is ideal for storing, keeping warm and serving food. Soups and stews in particular can be kept at a warm temperature for some time thanks to the lid. But the two-piece bowl can also be used as a classic bonbonnière for sweets and pastries and placed stylishly on the table or sideboard.
The bonbonnière is available in a porcelain version, where the outside is matt and the inside glazed, as well as a version made of glass. Both versions can also be combined with each other, so that the porcelain bowl can be fitted with a glass lid.
