New Norm dishes
The collective of Norm Architects designed the New Norm dishes collection in cooperation with the Copenhagen restaurant Cofoco in 2011. Bowls and plates with Nordic flair. The purist dishes are a special eye-catcher in the kitchen and on the dining table, known from the design restaurant Höst in Copenhagen.
Porcelain plates with watercolour look
The New Norm plates by Menu unify a pure design with traditional elements. Varnish in different colours is burned into the porcelain at 1400 °C which is the reason why the plates het a very special appearance. Since the traditional burning procedure won't let a plate look like the other.
The colours of the plates convince with soft tones and a slight gloss, which reminds us of the typical watercolour and which adds the characteristic, Nordic style of Menu to the dishes.
The New Norm plates spread holiday feelings and remind us of past vacations at the sea, combined with rustic wooden tables – like in the design restaurant Höst. But the New Norm plates are as well special eye-catchers in the garden, while barbecueing or while having breakfast.
Handwork from Europe
About 100 people are involved in the production of the New Norm dishes, supervising the processing and the quality of each product. Menu grants long lasting dishes with the best quality with the New Norm plates, made in a European porcelain factory which is specialized in the production of high class porcelain products for restaurants and hotels.
