New Norm Dishes

In cooperation with the Copenhagen restaurant Cofoco, the Norm Architects collective designed the tableware New Norm series in 2011. Bowls and plates with Nordic flair. Known from the design restaurant Höst in Copenhagen, the puristic tableware is a special eye-catcher in the kitchen and on the dining table.

The New Norm plates of Menu combine a pure design with traditional elements. Glazes in different colours are fired twice at 1400 degrees into the porcelain, giving the plates a particularly unique surface. This is because the traditional firing process means that no two plates are the same.
The colours of the plates inspire with soft tones and a slight shine, which reminds of typical watercolours and thus gives the Menu tableware its characteristic, Nordic look.

In combination with rustic wooden tables - as in the Design Restaurant Höst - the New Norm plates radiate a holiday feeling and remind of past holidays at the sea. But also in the garden, at barbecues or for the daily breakfast the New Norm side dishes are a special eye-catcher.
