Flexible Trivet made of Wood Rods

Little Big Trivet is a practical trivet designed by Alissia Melka-Teichroew in the context of the McMasterpieces design competition. The designers were asked to produce unique objects and furniture made of specific parts and raw materials.
Melka-Teichroew created a useful accessory out of wooden sticks and leather, which is usefully employed especially in the kitchen.

Using simple means Little Big Trivet came into being - a trivet that allows to be adapted to the pot's or pan's size placed on it. The rods made of beech wood strung on the leather strap allow to be easily moved, building a small or large trivet depending on the distance between the rods.

The Little Big Trivet coaster from Areaware looks great on every table and delights every guest. Great also the various colors to bring a little variety on the table. So every frying pan, pot or other thing stands safely on the table.

The Little Big Trivet coaster is good to use in the kitchen and - like almost all Areaware products - beautifully designed. It is well processed and a real alternative to the usual coasters from the household goods trade.
