Åsa Mc Cormac had the idea of the Hot Pot Trivet in 2002. Because of her love for large casseroles, she searched for a trivet that would be large enough for casserole dishes but still small enough to fit in a small kitchen drawer.
The Hot Pot trivet that she then designed for Design House Stockholm consists of laminated bamboo. The wooden grass is famous for its strength; it is also extremely heat resistant, biodegradable, extremely resilient and visually appealing. The practical trivet is easily stored, easy to clean and appeals with its simple Scandinavian design. A must-have for ecologically thinking design enthusiasts.
