Description
Classic drinking glasses
Aalto means wave. So it seems only natural that Aino Aalto, the wife of the famous architect and designer Alvar Aalto, was inspired by waves to create her glass vessels. The glass series "Aino" was created as early as 1932 and was initially called "Bölgeblick", which describes the waves that a pebble thrown into the water leaves on the surface of the water.
The functional and timeless simplicity of the glasses still looks modern and contemporary today. The products of the Aino Aalto series are suitable for every occasion, be it a formal dinner party or a children's birthday party. The Aino Aalto Glasserie was awarded the gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1936.
