Classic Vase made of Glass
The classic Lyngby vase was designed in 1936 and now reinterpreted as a glass version. The glass vase features like the original out of porcelain a unique aesthetic, thanks to the grooved structure. The play of light of the glass pillars creates an extraordinary vitality. The vase is ideal for smaller bouquets, decorative branches or as a stand-alone sculpture.
Re-Edition of a Classic
The vase became an absolute design icon in the 30s and is to this day highly valued of design lovers and collectors for its simple elegance. Together with other designs, the Lyngby vase marked the beginning of a new era in design, which was inspired by the Bauhaus movement and is characterised by the back then upcoming functionalism.
In 2012, the brand Lyngby Porcelæn came back to the market and resumed the production of the popular Lyngby vase. With utmost care and respect for the special history, today the vase is handcrafted in Denmark according to the original specifications.
Versatile Vases Collection
The mouthblown glass vase is available in different sizes and in several colours. The series was also extended with cachepots and bowls with lids. Whether for small flower bouquets, decorative branches or as a stand-alone sculpture, different colours, heights and diameters allow several vases to be put together in a varied arrangement.
