Mickey Mouse was designed by Walt Disney in 1928. The figure was actually created out of necessity, after Disney had to cede his rights of "Oswald the lucky rabbit" to his financier in consequence of a dispute. Disney became famous with Mickey Mouse being the first cartoon character with a voice in the cinemas in 1928. Since then, the little mouse with big ears was the trademark of the Disney Empire.
IXXI shows the mouse in the black and white version without ears and hands and yet you can see at first glance, that it is to Mickey Mouse on the screen. This shows once again the distinctive design of Mickey.
The image assortment of the Disney collection by IXXI comprises many motifs of the most popular Disney characters and scenes from the films. This collection makes not only children's hears beat faster, but makes also adults wallow in memories.
The motif is printed on Synaps, a high-grade synthetic 300 gsm paper with a mat appearance It features waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant properties. The cards are connected to each other with the provided crosses. They are then fixed to the wall thanks to the included hanging strips and adhesive Tesa Powerstrips - no tools or annoying drilling necessary. The cards can be easily replaced or more can be added.
