Spoon is a modern and original bar stool from the Italian manufacturer Kartell. The design of the stool was coined by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen. Spoon attracts attention because of its swung form and the perfectly worked curves, and it is ideally suitable as working stool for the kitchen, as bar stool or as special eye-catcher in public rooms.
Kartell manufactures the Spoon Bar Stool out of through-coloured Polypropylene. The special thing: the bowl is cast in one piece; this guarantees the seamless look of the numerous curves. The connection of the seat with the middle foot emerges through a reinforced curve that ensures flexibility and comfort as well as it is the deciding visual characteristic from the Spoon Stool.
The seating height of the Spoon Bar Stool can vary between 56 and 76 cm through gas-height-adjustments. The gas-pump has been placed inside of the base of the stool by Kartell. Also the hand-grip that controls the height has been totally integrated into the design by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen: it is nearly invisible under the seat of the stool.
The curved design of the Spoon Stool is accompanied by a vivid colour selection from Kartell. The stool is available in red, white, black, orange and aluminium.
