The Family Chair No. 2 by Design House Stockholm is a chair that is reminiscent of the traditional Swedish furniture made of assembled sticks and struts. With the carefully varied struts along the back, it is a modern interpretation of traditional craftsmanship.
Award-winning Design
The No. 2 is one of the chairs from the Family series that was designed by the designer Lina Nordqvist. The idea behind the collection was to create a series of chairs that each has a unique design – like the members of a real family.
The Family Chair No.2 is an extraordinary and imaginative design and has been awarded the Accent on Design Award in New York in 2009.
Solid Beech
The Family Chair No.2 is made of solid beech, which is then painted in different colours. The stylish chair can be used in the dining area or as a kitchen chair. The extravagant appearance with the composition of individual struts exudes Scandinavian charm and skilfully brings together past and present.
