The Hay Neu Chair includes attributes of different predecessors and transports them into a contemporaneous context, since it is a re-interpretation of classic design chairs.
Hay's design team surrounding Sebastian Wrong concentrated on ergonomic characteristics while developing the Neu Chair. That's also the reason why the chair reminds us of the Plastic Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames. The seat of the Neu 13 Chair of the collection by Hay is adapted to the body and it also offers comfort after some hours sitting on it.
The Neu 13 Wood Base edition from Hay is made of a wooden base in different editions. The classic drawn chair is also available with an upholstered seat, with a steel-tube frame or with a swivel base. More colours are also available on demand.
