Modern Bistro chair
The Belleville Chair Wood - from the correspondent Vitra collection by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec - is inspired by the classic French bistro furnishing in the Parisian quarter of Belleville. Slender, refined and made of new materials, the Belleville collection is a contemporary interpretation of classic French bistro design.
Plastic chair made of two components
The Belleville Chair is composed of two components: a frame structure made of plastic and a wooden seat shell. The black frame traces the lines of the legs and back, the slender black frame supports a thin shell that tapers from the wide seat surface into a narrow backrest. The seat can be chosen - in contrast to the frame - be chosen in dark or light oak or black ash.
Stackable bistro chair
The Vitra Belleville Chair Wood is loosely based on the French coffee house culture and therefore stackable with up to 6 pieces. Thus, the Vitra chair is not only suitable for private use, but also for the object area, cafés, waiting rooms or other interiors, where the chairs, if necessary, can be stored space-savingly.
One Chair many possibiliti
wood, plastic, fabric or leather The 2-component construction of the chair provides numerous design options.
While the frame is made of black plastic, there are several material and cover options for the seat shell. In addition to the wood version with the wooden seat shell, the Vitra chair is available as a leather and fabric variant with corresponding seat shell.
The plastic chair can be used outdoors thanks to the integrated full plastic version, for example in the garden, on the balcony or on the terrace.
