Beechwood chair in Windsor style
The chair J18 was designed in 1945 by Børge Mogensen for FDB Møbler . Like the other well-known FDB chairs from Mogensen, this model is characterised by its clear, Nordic design without decoration or unnecessary frills. Function and simplicity are the main focus here.
This comfortable design piece was inspired by the old English Windsor chairs from the eighteenth century. The solid backrest is continued in the armrests, which fit under most dining tables. The bowl-shaped wooden seat tilts gently backwards for added comfort. This way J18 can also be used as a nice and comfortable seat in the children's room or in the office.
