The exceptional rotating shelf Joy is a design by Achille Castiglioni of 1989. Joy is a re-edition of the Basello couch table, which has been designed by Castiglioni two years before.
Castiglioni used a connecting element of steel and several painted wooden boards surrounding the middle tube in both cases. Joy is made of some L-shape shelving boards and a rectangular base, which are all connected with a joint-support.
The shelving boards surrounding the connecting element can be adjusted individually, resulting in different silhouettes, suitable to be used for different purposes.
The rotatable shelf "Joy" by Zanotta is a flexible and exceptional shelf, which can be installed in the middle of a room, close to a wall or in corners if desired.
