Knoll - Saarinen Tulip Side Table

Besides the Tulip Chair, for the first time in 1956 also tables out of the Tulip collection emerged. They are also embossed by the unmistakable Saarinen design and include the idea of the one-foot piece of furniture.

The Knoll produced Tulip side table is not only a design highlight in company of the Tulip Chair. In living- or sleeping-rooms, it becomes deposit space and an eye catcher at the same time. Its clear and decent design is perfectly integrated in every furnishing.

The frame of the Tulip side table is aluminium cast. Black and white frames are additionally available protected by a Rilsan surface coating; platinum coloured frames are coated with polyurethane. The table top can be chosen out of laminate, marble or veneer. Moreover there are different frame-heights and diameters of the table top available.

- Characteristics: Eero Saarinen’s pillar-collection includes eating-, coffee- and side-tables. The Knoll logo is printed on the lower side of the foot. A sign with the KnollStudio logo and the signature of Eero Saarinen is furthermore placed on the lower part of the table top or at the upper part of the table top.

- Construction: Table tops available in satined laminate with worked edge and in Santos rosewood or teak wood. Coated marble table boards with transparent polyester lacquer for an easy removing of usage-caused spots. Pillar foot out of cast aluminium. Black and white pillar feet are protected with Rilsan. The platin coloured pillar feet have a polyurethane coating with transparent finish.

- Surface: The tables are available in white laminate, coated marble in different colours and the above noted veneers. Frame black, white or platinum coloured.
