The Revolver stool by Hay was designed by Leon Ransmeier and is an evolution of the Revolve bar stool, which is known for its 360 degree flexibility. The seat of the smaller stool can completely rotate around its own axis resulting in a piece of seating furniture that is functional as well as playful.
Made from Steel with a Bearing Mechanism
With the same ball bearing system as the bar stool, the stool also swivels, which is where it gets its name from: the rotation of the chair is visually and acoustically reminiscent of the turning of a revolver magazine. The slim, slightly dished seat with curved edges is supported by linear, angular legs, creating a timeless silhouette that is versatile and practical. The stool is made from powder-coated steel of various colours and comes into its own in the kitchen at the dining table, in the study at the desk or as possible seating in the living room or the children’s bedroom.
