The Eames Stool was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the year 1960. The stool is available in three different models whose difference is the profile in its middle part. Every stool consists of solid walnut wood that is multilayer glued and bright lacquered. The turned stools can be used as side tables if desired.
The Eames stool emerged in the year 1960. At that time the Eames office was given the commission to furnish three lobbies in the Rockefeller Center in New York City. Besides the whole interior work, also comfortable lobby chairs and this series of solid walnut stools that are produced by Vitra nowadays emerged in the scope of the project.
