Minimalist bookshelf made of three elements
The Jam bookshelf by Normann Copenhagen is a simple yet clever shelf by RSW Design with a minimalist look. The shelf consists of only three elements. Floors and posts are held together by plastic wedges. This allows the shelf to be assembled quickly and easily without screws and tools.
"We are always attracted to the simple things that surround us. The fascinating thing about it is that you only need a minimum of elements to create an extremely functional object. This includes a wedge, for example. If you place sloping surfaces so that they rub against each other, you can repair an object as large as a door with just one wedge. This observation gave us the idea to create a flat packed shelf that can be set up without tools and screws". Rudolph Schelling Webermann (RSW Design)
Made of oak wood with grey wedges
The shelf is made of oak posts and shelves of chipboard with oak veneer and is available in several sizes. It can be placed on the wall or freely in the room. The soft curves of the corners provide a harmonious visual expression. They give the shelf a friendly appearance. The grey polypropylene wedges are a clever detail. Thanks to its versatility, ease of assembly and timeless expression, the shelf is suitable for both the living room and large offices.
