Fritz Hansen - Skagerak Georg

Series of "additional pieces of furniture

While some furniture is used as a central furnishing element in the house, others eke out a rather secluded existence in a corner. These "additional pieces of furniture" primarily serve to facilitate everyday life without taking up too much space. Skagerak and designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm put an end to the traditional idea of additional furniture.

With the minimalist Georg series, designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm cleans up. For Skagerak she gives a new meaning to additional furniture as characteristic furnishing elements, as they have actually always deserved.

Where the Georg console table leans against the wall, the bench and stool stand out thanks to their unusual leg position. Georg seating is covered with cushions made of wool, discreetly held in place by an elegant leather strap. And the mirror leaning against the wall contrasts interestingly with the hanging closet with hangers in leather bands. Together, the two pieces of furniture tell the story of how adults and children can meet at eye level wherever they are. With the combination of untreated oak, untreated leather and mottled wool, Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm gives the Georg series by Skagerak a strong expression that fits into any room and is fully in line with the spirit of the times.
