Bright Colours and energetic Forms
Designer Maija Isola managed to capture the beauty of nature in a bright, happy pattern with Unikko (eng.: "poppy"). The Finnish designer found inspiration in the beauty of the things surrounding her. With bright colours, curved shapes and simple lines, the Unikko pattern became one of the icons of Finnish design.
The Unikko Blanket by Marimekko is made from a cotton blend in different colours and offers enough space with its dimensions 130 x 200 cm for cuddly moments on the homey sofa or armchair.
As part of the Marimekko Autumn / Winter Collection 2016/17, the blanket with the Unikko pattern in red and plum is only available for a limited period of time.
