The potholders made of silicone were created by the designers Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk from Tools Design and dependably protect the user from heat.
The Eva Solo potholders are made of silicone, are easy to clean so much more hygienic than grandma's crocheted cloths or ordinary textile ones. After use, simply hold them under running water or put them in the dishwasher. The extremely flexible material silicone is incredibly heat-resistant, so that the potholder can neither melt nor have unsightly deformations.
The potholders were awarded the Formland Prize in 1997.
