Description

YaYaHo is a low voltage light system by Ingo Maurer. The system can be assembled, arranged and expanded by every desired element at any time according to individual wishes. The point of departure from YaYaHo is a transformer that reduces 230/125 Volt to 12 Volt.

The transformer feeds two connected wire cables with electricity. The chosen light elements are mounted between both cords. Every element can be moved on the cords horizontally, some additional can also be moved vertically. Through the long cords and the dynamism of the light elements, YaYaHo is especially suitable for illuminations of long rooms with high ceilings.

The YaYaHo transformer is equipped with a thermo safety and is suitable for ceiling and wall mountings. To expand the YaYaHo light system there are special cords, a metal rod for the ceiling mounting as well as blends for some elements available. The single light elements differ visually and because of the light they spend.

YaYaHo has already been designed 1984 by Ingo Maurer and his team. At that time it was one of the first low voltage light systems at all.
