Three-dimensional rectangle as a floor lamp
Starting from a classic lantern, the two designers Nicoletta Rossi and Guido Bianchi have radically rethought the floor lamp. The Flos Ipnos Indoor is a three-dimensional rectangle made of metal with light sources not visible from the outside, which are hidden in the underside of the upper frame. All unnecessary elements have been removed by the Italian design team.
The free space inside the Flos Ipnos is filled by the light of the floor lamp. In the semi-darkness in particular, there are fascinating effects that live from the slenderness and the free spaces inside the lamp.
The slim frame of the Flos Ipnos Indoor floor lamp is made of extruded aluminum. The warm white light (2700 Kelvin) of the 196 LEDs is matted by a diffuser. There is a dimmer in the cable so that the light always reaches the desired intensity.
On request, the Flos Ipnos is also available as an outdoor lamp.
