Glass pendant luminaire in the form of a bubble
The Awa series of Fumie Shibata pendant luminaires for Brokis was born from the idea of creating a light that looks like soft glass that has retained its shape after inflation. A bubble of air floating in the water is called "Awa" in Japanese.
The luminaires are available in various shapes and colours and give the impression of floating air bubbles hanging from the ceiling. The lampshade is made of glass. A suitable light source is visible through the shade.
Details in wood and metal
Beautiful details are the elements made of wood and metal that hold the bubble of glass like closures or corks. A textile cable and a canopy are included in the scope of delivery and round off the design of the pendant luminaires. Alone or in groups, the Awa pendant luminaire is a functional and decorative lighting solution for every room. Above the dining table in the kitchen or above the side table in the living room, the luminaire is beautifully set in scene.
