Glare-Free Suspension Lamp
The PH 3/4 is a lamp design by Poul Henningsen. The luminaire with a three-piece shade made of aluminium, presents itself iconic and timeless. Based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, the pendant lamp gives a pleasantly non-glare and diffused light, which is predominantly directed downwards.
From the 1920s by Henningsen
Already in the years 1925/26, Poul Henningsen designed the 3-pieces shade. The model PH 4/3 pendant lamp was launched in 1966. It was built according to the same principles as the other lights with 3 shades, and that is the logarithmic spiral with the light source located in its centre. To achieve a diffused light, the inside of the shade segments were lacquered in white.
Depending on the area of application and desired light intensity and temperature the light can be equipped with an E27 socket light bulb of your choice.
