Modern Lamp made of Wood and Metal
The Schneid Eikon Shell luminaire consists of a turned wooden top in ash and a removable and replaceable metal shade. The shade is powder coated and fixed with magnets. This way, you can customise the look of the pendant lamp depending on the situation or mood and use it in different rooms and living areas. Thanks to the high luminous efficacy, the Eikon Shell with its wide shade is particularly well suited to illuminate big rooms.
Exchangeable Lampshade
The design by Niklas Jessen and Julia Mülling offers also for the design of hotels and restaurants a high degree of variability. Different colours and shapes can be easily combined thanks to the basic model. The replaceable shade makes the Eikon Shell a shape-shifter and allows to change the home or a public space significantly.
The Eikon Shell comes with a 3 m-long textile cable and a "CableCup" cover. Like all the lights of the German company Schneid, the Eikon Shell pendant lamp promises highest quality, which was produced under fair working conditions. The lamps' wood comes from sustainable forestry from regional suppliers.
The Eikon Shell can not only change its colours, but also its form: The smaller lamp shade of the Eikon fits also on the pendant lamp by Schneid. It concentrates the light even more, making it the ideal lighting for small rooms, dining tables and working desks. The lampshades are also available individually as well as with sockets made of oak or bamboo wood on request.
