Modern Lantern Table Lamp
For the Lantern Lamp, Neri & Hu were obviously inspired by the old oil lamps that could be found on every bedside table in the olden day. The lamp also refers to a design by the Italian designer Vico Magistretti from 1977. His Lydon lamp is so simple, that the attention is always brought back to the source of the light.
Brass Lamp with Glass Shade
The light source is also celebrated with the Lantern table lamp. The lamp consists of an upright rod out of solid natural or burnished brass with an illuminated tip. A tinted glass shade gently shields the centrepiece, held up by a branched out part of the frame. The lamp can be used as a modern version of the oil lamp on the bedside table; or act as a stylish reading light in the living room.
Thanks to the felt pads, the surface on which the lamp is placed is protected. The lamp is dimmable, so the light brightness is adjustable if necessary.
