Before the invention of the pencil, the scholars of mediaeval times made use of a silver rod as a writing tool for fine lines. Based on this archaic utensil, the design company Axel Weinbrecht has created a collection of useful writing tools to accompany you in all situations.
The pens take notes for an entire lifetime - on almost any paper at any temperature or in any weather and don't need to be sharpened. There's no ink and there's no risk of it falling or running out.
The design was drafted by company founder and director Axel Weinbrecht. It was awarded with the Good Design Award in 2008 and in 2010 was nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.
