Connox enters Austrian market: Launch of connox.at

After the successful launch of connox.com in 2010 the home design shop Connox launched the Austrian market with its own country domain this month. Since October, more than 13,000 design furniture and home accessories from the premium segment are available on connox.at. In addition to the range, Connox offers Austrian customers services and direct contact.

Customers from the neighboring country benefit from reduced shipping costs with the Austrian shop: The mail order trader reduced the shipping costs of a DHL standard package on 7.90 euro per package. The parcel from an order value of €80 is free of charge. Despite the new shop, the Austrian experience in online shopping and home design can rely on more than ten years of experience - and thus a smooth shopping and a specialized theme selection.

Further internationalisation planned

The Austrian domain won't be the only one. The online shop already delivers worldwide. To overcome language barriers, to meet currency differences and to simplify the shopping for customers with local adjustments, Connox plans more country-specific domains. "We could gain valuable experience about the interests and needs of the customers in different countries with connox.com", explained Thilo Haas, Managing Director of lumens GmbH "With this knowledge we would now move to international customers and expand into promising countries".
