GamFratesi

GamFratesi was founded by the Danish architect Stine Gam and her Italian colleague Enrico Fratesi in 2006. The design studio is based in Copenhagen, although Gam and Fratesi are always travelling to find new experiences and develop new products.

Stine Gam was born in Copenhagen in 1975. She graduated with a degree in architecture in Aarhus in 2006. During her studies, she studied at the Ferrara University and worked for architecture firms in Milan and Tokyo. Enrico Fratesi was born in Pesaro in 1978. Fratesi studied architecture in Florence and Ferrara and graduated with a master's in industrial design. His studies led the Italian to Stockholm and Aarhus as well.

The combination of two cultures is a strong theme in the designs of Enrico Fratesi and Stine Gam. Inspired by everyday life as well as technology, poetry and tradition, the Dane and the Italian let aspects of their different ways of life flow into their designs.
