Spanish designer Lluís Clotet was born in Barcelona in 1941. He received his degree from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in 1965. There, he was also a professor from 1977 to 1984.
The trained architect has increasingly begun to work as a designer, developing products for Alessi and BD Barcelona amongst others. In the field of architecture, his designs include the Banco de España in Gerona and accommodation facilities in the Olympic village in Barcelona.
