Norway says and the world will listen – Since the design-trio Torbjörn Anderssen, Andreas Engesvik and Espen Voll received great international recognition with their creations, proved by awards and the title "Norway's Designers of the Year".
The three founders studied at the National College of Art and Design in Bergen. They founded their common project Norway says in 2002. After they began working with wood, the design group however, works with all kind of materials today. The works are meanwhile in numerous permanent collections of world-famous museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The Oslo also received the world-wide highest design award by the Röhssla Museum in Stockholm, with the reasoning of being "one of the most active and successful design groups in the north. With furniture, textiles, glass, lamps and other industrial design, setting new trends, placing Norway and Nordic forms on the international design map, achieving recognition and admiration from the whole world".
They walk separated paths since September of 2009. Torbjörn Anderssen, Andreas Engesvik and Espen Voll work in their own design studios since then, fully active in Andreas Engesvik and Anderssen Voll.
