Fusion of Ideas

Steffensen & Würtz is a design studio consisting of the duo Thomas Steffensen and Pia Würtz Mogensen. They founded the Studio in 2015, a fusion of the thoughts and ideas from the two industrial designers.

For Sandvik, it is the love for honest design that drives him. He wants to create functional things that convince through elegant and unique details and facilitate the everyday life of the consumer.

Pia Würtz Mogensen, however, is impressed by the diversity and the possibilities in the field of design. Each design has a different purpose and is aimed at a different target group. She motivates the versatility of the tasks and refers to design as a large playground that gives you pleasure.

Together, they create new things, which are characterised by exceptional details and new possible uses.
