Italian Design, which Gives You A Good Feeling
Viviana Degrandi is an Italian designer who was born in northern Italy in 1979. She studied fashion design and fashion managment at the University of Milan and after a few years in the fashion industry she worked under the label EriaDesign. A design studio, which introduced her to Chiara D' Aleo and Aliki Zachariadi. Now she has her own design studio in the heart of the Museum District of Milan.
She specializes in the production of Design accessories for the kitchen and the living room and has worked for numerous national and international manufacturers. For her, it is very important to understand the production process of the object and to be able to understand, so that she can create innovative and timeless design objects. Her aim is: the object can be as commonplace as, but if the design is well thought through, the most common object allows to make the day a special one. Contrariwise, an object without much thought put into it can spoil all day, even if it was used only for a little moment.
Objects that we use every day and are around us all the time, should be more user friendly and make things easier. Degrandi would like to create things that give the user a good feeling and make everyday tasks easier to him.
