Norwegian-born Daniel Rybakken studied design at the Oslo School of Architecture and at the Academy of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg, Sweden. After graduating in 2008, he founded his own design studios in both Oslo and Gothenburg.
Rybakken's multiple award-winning designs can be categorised as something between art and daily object. His focus is on daylight and how to capture and change it using materials and shapes.
