Zanotta furniture - Italian design since 1954

Zanotta was founded in 1954 and is now a leading business in Italian design. Founded and directed by Aurelio Zanotta, Zanotta entered the spotlight of the design scene for the first time in the 60s, and since then it has never left the stage.

The business owes its success to the unique products that are exemplary of formal and technological innovations. In the 80s, Aurelio Zanotta tried to explain his company's success: "In the 1950s and 1960s, the furniture and interior design industry was bubbling with creativity. Some companies that are still leading in the field of design and have gained international success were smart enough to grasp the solution to the problem of uniting design and manufacturing.

It was possible to create profits and culture at once." The Sacco Beanbag and the William Sofa were just a few pieces of furniture that attracted international attention. Since the company was founded, Zanetta worked together with a number of international renowned designers and architects. These include Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti, Marco Zanuso, Ettore Sottsass, Joe Colombo, Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi, Giuseppe Terragni, Carlo Mollino, De Pas-D'Urbino-Lomazzi, Enzo Mari, Bruno Munari, Alfredo Häberli, Roberto Barbieri and Ross Lovegrove.

Today's collection comprises all kinds of furniture pieces.

The company uses different manufacturing technologies for production. In harmony with the corporate philosophy, this allows the advanced use of a lot of materials.
